Dear All,

Welcome to Christyl Touch Massage! As an RN with over 23 years of experience and over 6 years of experience as a NYS licensed massage therapist, my goal is to promote healing and improve the health of my patients (clients,guests).

Personally, I have resided in the Herkimer area for the past 26 years. Happily married for 31 years, I also have three grown children and two grandchildren. Pets include 2 dogs, one cat and one canary! My hobbies are decorating my home and going to antique shops and auctions. Together with my husband, I also own and operate
Bellinger Rose Bed & Breakfast.

Briefly my nursing experience is as follows:

1981-1983-MVCC RN associate degree program.

1981-1983- Nurse Aid at Folts Home and MV General Hospital

1983-1986- RN at Little Falls Hospital, Maternity and Medical Surgical units

1986-1990- RN at Faxton Hospital, Alcohol Detox and Medical Surgical units

1990-1995- RN Reviewer for Island Peer Review Organization, Medicaid Division

1995-2000- RN Quality Management Manager for BlueCross BlueShield of Utica

2000-2006- RN Private Practice, Christyl Touch Massage

I received my massage therapy training in 1999-2000 through the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, where I completed a 1000 hour New York State approved program, with NYS licensure in 2000. I continue to participate in continuing education programs in such areas as massage for Cancer Patients, and CranioSacral Therapy.

I first established Christyl Touch Massage in 2000 at my current location at 611 W. German St Herkimer. Simultaneously, I opened at the same location, Bellinger Rose Bed & Breakfast, where I was able to offer massage to both clients and guests. 

During the past six years I have been fortunate to treat many wonderful patients, as well as guests, according to their specific needs. Whether for relaxation or therapeutic treatment for a particular injury or condition, the results have been extremely positive.
